Extremists and the people willing to expose them

If you didn't see Glenn Beck's special last night on Islamic extremists, check it out this Friday on Headline Prime. Not only does Glenn hit the usual topics of Muslim wackos in the Middle East, but he also points out the nut jobs we have right here in the good ole' US of A. The scariest thing the special shows are children in Lebanon and Palestine ranting and raving against Israel and the US. Not to mention that their version of Saturday morning cartoons features shows about suicide bombers instead of the Transformers or Yugio (or whatever kids watch here now....I'm guessing it involves Japanimation characters dueling with cards in some fashion or another).

We need to wake up and realize this stuff is SERIOUS. Funny how the Democrats ran on a platform of immediate pullout of Iraq and now that they're taking over, the tone shifts....maybe they actually do realize that if Iraq collapses we'll have some major problems??? Hmmmmmmm...

Think Islamic extremists in the US are a joke? Listen to Glenn's interview with Jesse (or Muhammad as he calls himself now...) here. http://mfile.akamai.com/6713/wma/glennbeck.download.akamai.com/6713/preview/06/11/m_interview.asx

So here we go......

This is my second attempt at joining the blog-o-sphere. The first ill-fated effort on MySpace fizzled out after only one entry. Not a lot to live up to, so hopefully things will go better this time. With boredom as my impetus, I'm thinking it will. There's only so much TV a guy can watch before he wants to throw a shoe through the screen (ala Michale Keaton in Mr. Mom). However, connecting to the internet on a dial-up modem can be a major pain. It's really even money on whether or not this effort is doomed to fail or prevail. All I can say is stay tuned.....
